Recognitions and Awards for
SWATI Changemakers
Shri Hari Shankar Rout, Secretary of SWATI, received the 4th Shambhavi Puraskar by BIPF on April 16, 2017, presented by Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Skill Development, and Prof. Swapan Kumar Datta. The award honors unsung heroes making a significant social impact. He was also honored with the prestigious Asia Pacific Achiever Award by the Indian Solidarity Council. Jhulima Mallik, a dedicated SWATI volunteer, received the UN Volunteers V-Award on December 5, 2019, for her work to end child marriage. She was further felicitated by the Government of Rajasthan and Save the Children on December 16, 2019, and awarded by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha in February 2020 for her remarkable efforts.
